Symbolise special connections with the delicate heart-shaped leaves on the Tree of Love Pendant Charm.
“Life without love is like a tree without blossom or fruit.”
The graceful design of the PANDORA Tree of Love Pendant Charm (796592CZSMX) caught my eye amongst the more adolescent pieces from the PANDORA Valentine’s 2018 Collection. Despite being part of the Valentine’s collection, this elegant filigree charm would make a splendid gift for your other half, friends or family members.
In imagery the tree is full of symbolism and meaning. In many cultures a tree can be a symbol of family and its multiple generations. The tree’s leaves and branches often symbolise nature, fertility, life and can also represent balance, learning, growth and harmony. As such, the PANDORA Tree of Love Charm is magnificently expressive and full of sentiment. I particularly appreciate that two of its heart shaped leaves have baby pink and red enamel detail, which could signify a special loving relationship.
Many of the recent PANDORA items have featured sweet and thoughtful inscriptions. I especially like it when these messages are discreetly placed on the charm as it makes it more of a secret message between the giver and receiver. The PANDORA Tree of Love charm has the dear words ‘you & me’ engraved on the side of the bale. This cute little note reminds me of the joyful Wannadies anthem, ‘You and Me Song’ which featured in the 1996 cult classic Romeo & Juliet.
When I first saw the Tree of Love charm I wasn’t sure about the use of pink cubic zirconia stones on the bale. However in real life the pink shade is less vibrant than it appears in the stock image. It matches with the pink cubic zirconia stones on the Flamingo Charm (791294czs) although the Tree of Love bale is a little smaller. The typical PANDORA hallmark ‘S925 ALE’ is on one side of the bale.
Interestingly, the pendant part of the Tree of Love charm is not flat but is slightly curved. The concave shape allows the charm to sit prettily when worn on a necklace.
My first design surrounds the PANDORA Tree of Love Charm with even more love! The PANDORA Mesh Bracelet (596543) provides a pretty textured background to this lovable design. The flush of fuchsia from the new Shape of Love (796563NFR) charm and the Cerise Encased in Love (792036NCC) from the 2017 Valentine’s Collection add rich colour to the simple styling. I love to mix metals and the new PANDORA Rose Two Hearts Spacers (786559CZR) look marvellous either side of the Tree of Love Dangle Charm and emphasise it’s darling details.
The PANDORA Open Bangle (596477) is my go to bracelet of choice as it is so quick to style, even when I am running late in the mornings! This styling is all sweetness and full of fresh, feminine florals! The soft pink in the Pink Field of Flowers / Bloom Murano (791665) and the subtle hint of red at the centre of the retired Cherry Blossom Murano (790947) compliment the tiny enamel hearts on the Tree of Love Charm.
Love is All Around in my next styling. The combination of soft pinks, blossoms and the blush of PANDORA Rose send the hope that Spring is on it’s way soon! The PANDORA Rose Heart Clasp Bracelet (580719) looks superb in a full design and the heart shaped clasp is as gorgeous as the charms! You can almost smell Spring flowers in the air with the elegant Magnolia Bloom Clips (792078PCZ) and matching Magnolia Bloom Charm (792087PCZ).
As the Tree of Love Charm is a pendant design, it looks wonderful styled on necklaces. The multiple pink hues of the Magnolia Bloom Charm (792087PCZ) and the glistening Pink Glitter Murano (791670) intensify the dainty love heart leaves on the Tree of Love Charm.
My final design is a bright, cheerful styling which is ideal for the daytime. I adore the clash of the PANDORA Rose Two Hearts Spacers (786559CZR) against the vivid Honeysuckle Pink Double Leather Bracelet (590734chp-d). The dramatic shade of pink emphasises the reddish pink hearts on both the Two Hearts Spacers and the Tree of Love Charm.
My verdict on the PANDORA Tree of Love Charm? It’s rooted my love of PANDORA!
