February is a special time of year for Las Vegas. Football fans, lovers and those celebrating the Chinese New Year all descend upon the Strip for parties, festivities and a little romance. If you’re heading to Vegas this month here are the top ways to enjoy:

Super Bowl

The New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles will go head to head in Super Bowl 52 at US Bank in Minneapolis, Minnesota, this Sunday, February 4, and Las Vegas will be celebrating the Big Game with tons of viewing and betting parties. Come watch at Vegas hot spots, such as Beer Park, Lagasse’s Stadium, PBR Rock Bar & Grill, XS Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas, Downtown Las Vegas Center and many more. There will be plenty of food and drink specials and football themed fun.

Valentine’s Day

Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner out or something a little more sensual, Las Vegas can accommodate. Enjoy a lovely dinner from France at the Eiffel Tower restaurant at Paris Las Vegas. Then head over to the LINQ and cuddle with your significant other as you take in incredible views of the Strip on the High Roller. End your night with a something sexy during one of Vegas’ many provocative shows including Cirque du Soelil’s Zumanity, Magic Mike Live, X Burlesque, Absinthe and many more.

Chinese New Year

The 2018 Chinese New Year is Friday, February 16. Known as Spring Festival in China, the Chinese New Year is the longest and most important festivity in the Chinese lunar calendar. Vegas is commemorating the Year of the Dog with festive decorations, traditional Chinese cuisine and activities throughout its many resorts.

Caesars Entertainment will host 13 Lion Dances throughout its resorts to bring good luck to the city. Guests can watch the dances from Friday, February 16 to Monday, February 19.

The complete line up of lion dances includes:

Friday, Feb. 16: The Cromwell at 2 p.m.; Flamingo Las Vegas at 3 p.m.; Harrah’s Las Vegas at 3:45 p.m.; The LINQ Hotel & Casino at 5 p.m.; and The LINQ Promenade at 6 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 17: Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino at 12 p.m.; Paris Las Vegas at 1 p.m.; Bally’s Las Vegas at 2 p.m.; Caesars Palace at 5 p.m.; and The LINQ Promenade at 6 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 18: The LINQ Promenade at 6 p.m.

Monday, Feb. 19: The LINQ Promenade at 6 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 28: Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino at 7 p.m.

Meanwhile, the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace will welcome a 22-foot long, 6-foot wide and 12-foot high illuminated dragon display. The dragon is a traditional symbol of power, strength and good luck. The Forum shops will also host The Meadows School, who will perform the traditional dragon parade on Friday, February 16.

The LINQ Promenade will commemorate the holiday with a four-day Chinese New Year Party beginning Friday, February 16. Guest can enjoy live cultural performances by professional dancers form the Beautiful Tianjin Troupe and local Chinese communities on The LINQ Promenade Fountain Stage. Lohan School of Shaolin will perform a Dragon dance nightly at 6 p.m. and The High Roller will light up red and gold for the four day affair.

On February 16 at 4 p.m., dancers will fill the Atrium at the Grand Cana Shoppes inside The Venetian for the Traditional Fan Dance. During and after the performance more than 250 red envelopes will be passed out to guests. These will be filled with prizes like gift cards and retail and dining incentives. The Shoppes will also have a 16-foot-tall floral Elephant.

The Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens has built an 18-foot Siberian Husky as the centerpiece of their 14,000 square foot floral garden. The Chinese New year display will be available through March 3.
